It's pretty rare that I have the help of a 7-year-old boy in posing my sessions, but that was Oliver! He hunted for spots, modeled for me, and got his little (and adorable) sister to smile for me while we wandered around the preserve. Such a great family with the cutest, spunkiest kids. The last time I photographed this family, Harrison was just a week old. The first time I photographed them, they were pregnant with his older sister, Evelyn. Now, Evelyn is talking and loving on her little brother and I'm so lucky to be able to witness it all as this family grows. <3

This was such a fun, beautiful session to photograph. It's the sweetest thing to watch the way a recently engaged couple interact, and Stacy and Kenisha were no exception. Chicago must've been on their side and gave them one of the most beautiful nights I've seen in the city.

Sometimes you get lucky enough to have the perfect day at the perfect spot...with the perfect family! I absolutely had the best time shooting at Gillson Park in Wilmette with this happy, playful family. So much love and not a moment the kiddos weren't smiling.
